SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS Rocker Paddle Upgrade Kit 1x12
With the XX1 Eagle AXS upgrade kit, you can upgrade your mechanical SRAM Eagle 12-speed groupset to the electronic Eagle AXS wireless drivetrain. The Eagle AXS groupset is waterproof and dustproof to IP69K standard, making it ideal for use in adverse conditions. The battery status can be checked simply by pressing a button on the rear derailleur before setting off. With a charging time of just one hour, the bike is ready for use again within a very short time. In addition, the battery can be replaced with just one movement. Important for lightweight builders: Despite the integrated motor and battery, the XX1 Eagle AXS groupset is 5 grams lighter than the mechanical XX1 Eagle groupset.
Rear derailleur
The Eagle AXS rear derailleur is the brain of the groupset and has been specially developed for optimum shifting performance with an electric motor. Shifting under load and on rough surfaces is now even more precise. This gives you even more confidence in the bike under extreme loads and you can concentrate exclusively on the trail. The new overload clutch provides better protection for the rear derailleur in the event of a fall. It briefly decouples the rear derailleur under extreme loads so that it can avoid the load and the electric motor is protected from damage. However, the rear derailleur immediately jumps back into the engaged gear. As an extremely positive side effect, the rear derailleur suspension and the derailleur hanger are also better protected in the event of a fall. In addition, a 10 millimeter shorter derailleur arm protects the rear derailleur from contact with the ground. For more chain wrap and therefore better shifting performance, the parallelogram has been moved slightly further forward.
Controller
With the new AXS Rocker Paddle Controller, SRAM offers you the opportunity to use familiar shift lever ergonomics on the modern AXS drivetrain. The AXS Controller is the shifting center for the Eagle XX1 and X01 AXS groupsets, but can also be paired with the Reverb AXS or the AXS road bike components. You can customize the functions with the help of the SRAM AXS app.
Charger/battery
The integrated battery on the rear derailleur has a range of over 1000 kilometers. The charge status can be read at any time via an LED lamp. The battery is recharged within an hour using the charger included in the scope of delivery.
