The Eagle AXS derailleur is smart enough to protect itself thanks to its incredibly resilient Overload Clutch. In the event of an impact, the motor gearbox disengages, giving the derailleur freedom to move, and instantly returns back to its position for a seamless experience for the rider.
The system is tested to IP69K water and dust proofing standard for creek crossings, mud splatterings and the resulting post-ride pressure washings.
The X01 Eagle AXS derailleur features a shorter cage for 10mm more ground clearance, with more chain wrap on the cassette to sit slightly further forward, and further inboard from mechanical Eagle
EAGLE AXS CONTROLLER: The newly redesigned Eagle AXS Rocker Paddle gives the rider a traditional, familiar interface for their cutting-edge electronic control. Effortless electronic shifting paired with a more traditional feeling actuation allows riders who are new to using AXS quick integration and provides another ergonomic option for those who have run AXS from the start. The controller’s functions are customizable through the AXS app, allowing you to assign any action to any button. With AXS you can truly make your cockpit your own.
AXS BATTERY COVER: A light-weight cowling designed to protect the battery while installed on the derailleur. The AXS battery cover fits all AXS mountain bike derailleurs.
