Sharing the same 320 TPI (Threads per inch) Cotton-K reinforced casing, and technical 4C Graphene compound technology, the Corsa Control adds a textured shoulder tread to the mix. 4C COMPOUND: Road tires need to deliver speed, control and durability. Vittoria 4C Graphene compounds are specifically formulated to give ultimate grip with the lowest possible rolling resistance, while still providing a long useful wear life. The center tread area uses two separate Graphene compounds; one at the base, and one at the surface. The base compound provides a stable foundation for climbing and braking loads, while providing protection from pinch flats and punctures. The surface compound is formulated to provide minimal rolling resistance, while delivering ultimate traction in both wet and dry conditions. The shoulder area of the tread also uses two separate Graphene compounds; one at the base, and one at the surface. The base compound provides a stable foundation for cornering loads, while providing protection from slices in the tread. The surface compound is formulated to provide ultimate cornering confidence, in both wet and dry conditions. All four Graphene 4C compounds work together to minimize tearing and extend useful wear life, in a range of terrain.

Cotton Casing: Vittoria is the first and still number one producer of cotton tires. As of today, only Vittoria best road tires are made out of cotton, a light material which makes the casing very flexible. Cotton threads have the thinnest structure in the tire casing technology, with benefits related to lightweight and flexibility. This characteristic allows to develop casings with a higher number of threads per inch, up to 320 TPI for the top-quality cotton casings. This property allows the tire to conform closer to the roads surface, providing a smoother ride, easier rolling, and better grip. In order to boost the overall strength of the casing, Vittoria uses Cotton yarn, which is a particular type of yarn made by cotton and aramid fibres combined.
