GO Energy Bake is a science-based energy bar recipe that contains 30g of carbohydrates in a soft filled bar. Each bar contains a fruit filling containing 10 g of fructose. In order to maintain performance and meet the demands of physical exertion, it is recommended to consume 60-90 g of carbohydrates per hour for long endurance competitions. Science in Sport GO Energy Bake can be used in conjunction with other Science in Sport GO products to meet these needs. The unique, soft texture of the bars makes it possible to eat easily, and the carbohydrates are useful for the body (during intense sports). Carbohydrate depletion during exercise is one of the main causes of fatigue. Supplemental carbohydrates during exercise are known to improve performance, improve race times, and delay the onset of fatigue.
