Giant Revolt Advanced 3
Rough roads, gravel or dirt. However you choose to roll, this bike does it all. The lightweight, smooth-riding composite frameset and adjustable wheelbase make it more capable than ever.
ADVANCED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY
Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
D-FUSE TECHNOLOGY
The D-Fuse seatpost and handlebar were designed to function as a system, absorbing road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster.
D-FUSE SEATPOST
A D-shaped composite shaft absorbs shocks and vibrations. With up to 7mm of flex, this engineered compliance produces a smooth ride quality to help minimize fatigue.
D-SHAPED COMPOSITE TUBING
D- Fuse handlebars are made with D-shaped tubing on the tops for added compliance and hand comfort.
OVERDRIVE
Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
THE GIANT TUBELESS SYSTEM
Our complete system of wheels, tires, valves and sealant eliminates the hassle and question of “Tubeless Ready” or “Tubeless Compatible”, by simplifying set-up and guaranteeing compatibility. So whether you’re cornering in a crit, climbing technical singletrack or cruising through the city, you'll be free to ride without worrying about your tires.
FLIP CHIP - DROPOUT
A quick and simple adjustment on the new Revolt lets you fine tune your bike for the way you ride. A two-position flip chip located on the rear dropout changes the wheelbase, along with rear-wheel tire clearance, so you can get the best performance out of the bike depending on the terrain and your riding style.
HOW DOES IT CHANGE MY RIDE EXPERIENCE?
Short Position: A shorter wheelbase results in a quicker, more agile ride quality. This is a great option when riding mixed terrain that combines paved roads with smooth, fast gravel and dirt. The responsive feel, combined with smaller diameter (and lighter weight) tires, makes it a smart choice when speed, efficiency and quick handling matter most.
Long Position: The long position extends the wheelbase, which adds stability for more rugged gravel and dirt. And with added rear tire clearance (up to 53mm), it allows you to choose high-volume tires for added traction and control. The long position is a great choice for rides and routes that might include fast, loose descents and tricky off-road climbs.
KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS
FAST AND LIGHT
Advanced composite frame and fork save more than 160g compared to the previous model. Updated geometry includes a lower bottom bracket, longer reach and steeper head tube angle for improved acceleration and climbing.
TUNED COMPLIANCE
Dropped seatstays with thin tubing absorbs road shocks and vibrations. D-Fuse handlebar and seatpost work as a system to add compliance without sacrificing stiffness while cornering, sprinting or climbing.
ADAPTABLE TO THE TERRAIN
A flip chip on the rear dropout adjusts the wheelbase short for quicker handling, or long for improved stability at speed. The long setting allows for larger diameter tyres up to 53mm.
